View to the west from about a third of the way up Dunderberg Peak's southwest ridge. Notice the prominent diorite tower which is just off the main ridge crest. The lower prominent lake is Blue Lake; the higher is Cooney Lake. The smaller Frog Lakes are hidden even higher. Black Mountain is the prominent peak on the left. Excelsior Mountain is the high red peak in the center. Super-size photo
