A boat passes through the...
A boat passes through the strait separating the highway picnic area from Steamboat Rock. Beyond the picnic area is Northrup Canyon, which is part of the park or at least has a designated nature trail extending up it. The rock knob at center is Gibraltar Rock. Someone owns a quaint little farm cozied around it.

I'm not sure what the four white dots were floating at lower left. I was thinking they were buoys for crab pots but maybe not. Something for fishing. April 4, 2005.
