KaneHi Jack.

Curious, did you happen to hike out to Point 12,485? Also, did you attain the ridge from the Deluge Lake Trail? Any avy danger up in there. Thanks.

I was actually meaning to go to Deluge Lake but I made a mistake with my routefinding and ended up hiking up the bowl on the southwest side of point 12305, then to the south ridge of point 12305, where I set up camp behind a big rock/windlip formation on the ridge. This was last year in March during an unusually warm spell. It wasn't even that cold at night, I used a 3-season one-man tent. The avy danger was pretty solid when I hiked up, although the next day I left really early in the morning because the snow didn't freeze well that night.

Oh, and no I did not hike out to point 12485. I don't know why I didn't. Maybe I was just too lazy!

From the looks of it though it seemed doable?

Yeah, I think so. You can see the route (and point 12485) on the right side of the photo. I think it's pretty mellow.
