Umbalkees glacier and Dreiherrenspitze / Picco dei Tre Signori left with the summit in clouds. Please compare the extension of Umbalkees glacier with the one on the picture of 1986 by Lupino. Umbalkees is in the last years the glacier in Austria that has lost most lenght. (this picture taken in March 2005 from Untere Roetspitze, 3290m)

Hy Mathias. It is really interesting the comparison betwenn the two pictures. I'm very sad looking at what happened during the last 20 years and the future could be not better.
