rpcNice series...

Glad to see you squeezed in a couple pitches before the rains hit. After a decent couple days midweek, once again they're forecasting a shi**y weekend. I must be pissing off someone upstairs or something.

Your photos bring back fond memories and make me realize how miserable I am on g.damn snow!!!

Thanks man. Yeah, it worked out pretty well. Didn't mind getting hosed on the way down, but I'm glad it didn't rain on the slab pitch. :-) I was kinda sore after Orbit, fairly challenging for a 6 pitch 5.8 I thought. Pretty good route, I am just spoiled by Index now. :-)

I see that NWS has now down their gradual weather degradation for the weekend, as they do almost every week. Sucks! Heading to Index tomorrow night so hopefully the whole week won't be shot.

How is your seminar? When do you get to do a fun technical ascent like Wy'East or Reid Headwall?

Yeah - unreal!

Heading to Index tomorrow night so hopefully the whole week won't be shot.

We've also been looking to somehow get on the rocks during this snow course. Probably will give Broughton Bluff another chance (did not really care very much for it the first time around :)

How is your seminar?

Lot's and lots of crevasse rescue scenarios....useful, yes; exciting, definitely NO!

There's talk of doing a climb 1 week and/or 2 weeks from this weekend. Names like RH, Leuthold, Wy'east have been popping up but not sure what WE can get on (given our relatively limited steep snow experience) and of course there's the weather uncertainty...

take care

giving that Mary Jane dihedral a go sometime? It looks kinda cool from below I think? Might be a bit dirty though?

Looks like L-worth is wet this weekend :(

Have a good one Martin.

Not really. It looked super dirty with tons of bushes growing out of the cracks.

Headed to the Olympics for the first time to do some hiking with Mishell. Hope you have a good weekend.

I guess it's one of these climbs that looks good only from afar.

Sounds like you guys had a good time (other than the rain part) in the Olympics.

See you tomorrow at the beer drinking fest :)
