Descent from Peak 5950
Descending from the summit of Peak 5950, now back down in the glacial basin at about 18,500' / 5600 m.

The north face of Kangchenjunga looks down on our puny efforts.

You are correct on all counts! There was blue everywhere from the sky to the pockets of blue ice in the glacier. It was cold at night for sure, and some of our camps were in valleys that get little sun.

That whole area out by Kangchenjunga was one of the most beautiful places I've been, really spectactular.

Thanks for the comment.
