A summit view to the south....
A summit view to the south. Two things catch your attention most; Bonete Chico and Caldera del Inca. The latter in this zoom-shot. The highest water filled crater in the world. I was told. There are a few higher crater lakes according to This list.

Here's a photo of one which is higher.

Is this the same crater called "Corona del Inca" where you can go by 4x4?
Very nice?

Yes, it's also called the Corona del Inca. You can go there with 4x4. One good place to arrange the transport from is Villa Union. It's a rough ride and sometimes the sand is so bad you can't go all the way. Also, the rivers on the can stop the 4x4. Make sure the season is right and be acclimatized before going there.
