The east face of Langtang seen from the summit of Cherko Ri
(4984m), a great 4000 foot hike from the village of Kyangjin
Gompa just visable on the small plateau in the lower left. The
Langtang Valley descends to the west. Base camp for
Langtang is situated on the left brown slope about midway down
the Lirung glacier in the center of the photo.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I just returned from trekking in the Garhwal Himalaya, incredible landscapes there. I'll upload some photos to the Nanda Devi page within the next few weeks.
