The Second Wave is very close... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Second Wave is very close...
The Second Wave is very close to the Main Wave (about three hundred meters south) It's as breathtaking as the more famous Main Wave, so it's definitely worth a visit, especially at sunset.

I'm sort of biased because The Wave is my page, but I think this is PoW material.

@all: Thx for your kudos!!

@Klenke

Thx for the amazing Wave page.

The Coyote Buttes area is one of my favourite places in the Southwest, and so I've been there several times in the last years (4x at the Wave - 3x via Wire Pass TH, 1x via The Notch TH, and also 2x at the equally beautiful, but much more remote Coyote Buttes South).

The 2nd Wave is THE Sunset Location in the CBN, and absolutely worth a visit, especially in the late evening.

But because you have to return to Wire Pass TH in the dark, it's nothing for the "First Timer".

Greetings,

Karsten
