The ridge of Mount Shark is...
The ridge of Mount Shark is lined with cornices most of the way. The Summit cornice was quiet healthy in May as well. You can see my path. The ridge starts to dip north further up. Pay attention to gravity when on the hard pack. A slip sends you off the cornice, not down the ridge.

It is a crack....it does look like tracks in this photo though...it would take a blind man to fall through that one, but I have seen such things unfold before my eyes...cheers!

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
