Boulder Ridge & Partner [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Boulder Ridge & Partner
This is just above where you climb up the Basalt Cliff and access the Boulder Ridge.

Looking W up Boulder Ridge to the Boulder Glacier (photo center) and Boulder Cleaver (directly below Grant Peak) on the right. The route from here follows BR up to the start of the glacier, then 1200' of glacier climbing leads to the Toe of BC and excellent campsites.

A bit of the Park Glacier and Park Cleaver is visible on the far right. From the left; Sherman Peak, Sherman Crater and Grant Peak. Climbing partner and daughter Kelsi in foreground. Photo taken 5/29/05.

I was going to suggest you post this to your Boulder Ridge route page. Guess I don't have to.

Don't know why that picture got low votes....for :

1 - You learn something about the route,

2 - The lady is pleasant looking ...:)

Thanks Claude. I took several shots of the route without Kelsi in the foreground (with the intention of posting one of them here). The other shots all came out blurry, perhaps because of the distance to the summit 5+ miles and also the camera I was using (a little auto digital type).
