Good pic Rafa, there's been few snow this year as I can see in the photo. By the way, what is the exact date of the pic?

The picture is taked this week-end. I've climbed Pala de Ip and Punta Escarra.

Last 2-3 weeks have been very warm and great part of the snow is disappearing of the Pyrenees under the 2600-2500 metres in this area. The last snowfall was 3 weeks ago (you can see the sierra de Partacua with a lot of snow in the page of Otal only 2 weeks ago).

2 years ago I climbed in june and the climb to Collarada was very hard for the snow . This year the weather is better.

The refuges of "ibon de Ip": the ruins of the hotel (great house in the middle of the picture), a good white hut (very little in the right, closed), two free huts in bad conditions,...the best hut it's before the ibon, 15 minutes of walk-up in the normal route, with berths to 4-5 persons.
