Starting the long traverse. The summit is visible top left. We'd been out of the trees for about 200 yards at this point. The route follows high on the right (or you can go around the to the left where the trail goes in summer but its not as direct) all the way up the the top right of this photo then over. The cliff bands straight ahead are the same cliff bands in the closer photo where you see the tracks. That's my partner Matt snowshoeing in front of me.
