Mount Sheridan from the...
Mount Sheridan from the north. I normally don't submit pictures containing roads, however I decided to submit this one because of the (I hope) high aesthetic value while depicting an angle of Mount Sheridan which, though seen by many, is not represented on SP. The picture was taken from SH-115 less than a half mile southwest of Meers.

Too bad those walls are off limits. Could be some great climbing on them.

Those walls HAVE been climbed. I read an account somewhere about some of the old guys of Oklahoma climbing who did some illegal climbs of Sheridan years ago.

It kills me that there's a stinking road between Sheridan and Roosevelt (dirt, but a road nonetheless), but we can't even get one day out of the year. Oh well, at least we have what we do.
