The south, east and west... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The south, east and west...
The south, east and west ridges (south ridge, about 200 feet from the summit is shown here) are heavily corniced during the winter. These may persist well into summer. In low visibility conditions it is easy to approach a cornice without knowing it. It's about 1,000 feet to the base of the wall. June 8, 2005.
