Lapland Rosebay (Rhododendron Lapponicum) in the meadow on top of Gordon Ridge (Watson Path), Mt Madison, NH.

Lapland Rosebay, aka Lapland Azalea or Lapland Rhododendron, is listed as Threatened in Maine, absent from Vermont, and Endangered in New York State (where it is found in only one county), but the New Hampshire population seems to be healthy.
