Bottom of Upper Pole Couloir. Just starting the hike. We began at 8am, yet still had quite an issue with rockfall.
Just stay to the south (right) side of the couloir. The rocks came from a large gully on the north side of the couloir, roughly 2/3 of the way up.
Once we passed this point we had no issues. June 13, 2005.
