Voted 10/10 | You must have gotten an early morning start for your climb. That pinnacle to the left of Disappointment Peak is called Red Sentinel. The summit is very sharp and quite scary looking when viewed from the east. | | Posted Jun 21, 2005 8:47 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the info on the Red Sentinel - I updated the caption accordingly. We started from Lupine Meadows trailhead at 2:30am, so the sky was just starting to lighten when we reached the Garnet Canyon Meadows. Perfect timing :) | | Posted Jun 21, 2005 9:15 pm |
