North face of Missouri Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
North face of Missouri Mountain
North face of Missouri Mountain, 28 May 2005.

If you are heading for the north face couloirs, it's can be hard to determine which point is the summit. I think Dawson's guide has it mislabeled in a photo. You can see that the point I labeled really is the summit if you compare this photo with views from Belford (seen elsewhere on this site, such as here).

Thanks for adding the photo. The actual summit is misleading on the approach. We trended much too far right (west).
