Route sketch of the West Route from Freeman Reservoir up Black Mountain. The trail is not shown on any of the topo maps, but I sketched it the best I could while on the mountain. There may be minor details missing, such as switchbacks, since I did the route in deep snow, but this pic I have added seems to be about the only large scale map available that has the trail marked, at least one with contour lines!
