Spectacular view from the...
Spectacular view from the summit of Half Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park. Pagoda Mountain is on the right, while barely noticeable Storm Peak sits in front of Longs Peak, one of Colorado's best known and greatest mountains, and the monarch of Rocky Mountain National Park. Mount Meeker is barely seen on the left. This view is a similar angle to the recently released Colorado State Quarter (with its supposedly non-descript mountain image-pffft!). Summer 2005, Rocky Mountain National Park.

nice job capturing definitive proof that the colorado state quarter does indeed feature longs peak. there is some discussion on the net about it possibly being crestone peak but this photo puts that argument to rest
