This impressive basalt block is located here, on the ridge north of Howlock Mt.. Picture taken July 2nd, 2005 looking SE with the north shoulder of Howlock visible on the right. The gully in the center could probably be free free soloed but it's a hard class four or low five with major exposure. I climbed to the mid-point but since no one know where I was in case of a problem, I chose not to continue! Comments |  Image Data
