Snibble Tower on East Face of Smith Rock Group. The route is sufficiently obscure and intersects many a new (and unpublished) sport route that I thought I'd post a topo for it (no topo given in Watts' book). P1' marks the top of the bolted pitch one (new route; our variation); P1 marks the top of original pitch 1 (5.6). Bolt counts are only approximate. The route is given a rating of 5.9 A0 or 5.9 by Watts. However, I thought that 2 clean aid moves just beyond the bolt ladder on P3 were kind of the way to go (for us), hence the "C1" rating. The ratings and bolt count details of the sport lines are unknown at this time; pitch 1 (bolted) variation we did is probably around a 5.9 or so (guessing here). Also included a photo topo of the route to put things in perspective. Free variation of route goes directly up from P1 to P3 bypassing the bolt ladder traverse via steep 5.9 choss thrashing acc. to guidebook. Route was done July 10, 2005.
