To gain Contact Pass from the base of Second Lake, follow to the west side of the lakes and ascend the snow chute that hugs the base of the Temple Crag. I am sorry I had to ruin this nice picture with the red line but I thought the line helpful for a possible future climber. Picture taken July 17 2005.
