Looking east from the summit of Sarmahoo. The big volcano in the horizon is the 5671 m Mt. Damavand. To the laft of it in the horizon the 4338 m Dokhaharan Peak. The higher closer peak on the right is Paloon Gardan 4256 m. To the right of it you can see a small triangulr peak known as Palvan 4126 m. In front of and to the left of Damavand you can see the 4206 m Narges Peak. The lower and much closer peak is Koheno 4082 m

I like your pictures of Damavand.



The reason is they are different and are taken in mountains, where the normal ( lazy ) photographers never dare to climb just to get a nice shot! So, the fact that you climb and are at the 4000 + m. elevation and take picture of Damavand and as a result including other peaks of Alborz in your pictures make them unique, something new and very interesting.

Damavand is the absolute King. It is visible from everywhere. I too like it when it appears surrounded by other peaks.
