Wow, thanks! I never know which photos will be the most popular. I thought the photo of the Needles in the Weminuche Wild section would have receive the most attention. Shows how much I know. Those floating icebergs in the lake were interesting and much bigger than they look. Not much sun gets down there because of the high peaks around it.

Thanks. I wish I had just a bit more space in the camera lens to get both sides of the lake in but the mountain was too tall.

I love the color of that water! I hope to get down to the Greanadier Range/Needles this summer and I would love to camp right by that lake. Good job ATTM!

You can't camp right by the lake as it is very rugged, but there is a sweet spot of nice flat tundra about 200 feet below it with Silex and Storm King towering above.

That picture is righteous! I hope to go to that lake. I love the turquoise color. Can one swim in Lake Silex or is it always too cold?

I took this pic in August and as you can see there is still ice in the lake, so it would be very cold any time of year. Thanks for the compliments!
