The Gold Camp Road route starts at the Gold Camp Road parking lot above Helen Hunt Falls shown as TH above. Head uphill on Gold Camp Road for a little less than two miles to the second large bend in the road climbing about 300 feet in the process. From here the trail to Muscoco Mountain heads down about 250 to the Daniels Pass and then back up about 500 feet to the summit. It is less than one mile from Gold Camp Road to the summit.
