The jeep road ends at the Blue Lakes right before the trail ascends next to the waterfall. This is the small, unnamed lake at 12,540 ft. The blue trail is the standard route that leads to Ellingwood's South Face. You can see hikers on that trail going to the right of the lake. The SW Ridge route (in red) angles left crossing the stream and gaining the ridge.
