Thanks for the photos. It is sad to see the mountains with so little snow. When i was there in late June, everywhere was still under tons of snow but I guess that is what happens by late summer.

Yes, by late summer it is just like that. Actually when I went to Marjikesh just a couple of days ago, I hadn't noticed that you had a page about Marjikesh on SP. When I was reviewing my photos, it was really interesting for me to notice that there are quite a number of photos taken from the same angle that you have also taken however in another time of year. Comparing them was interesting for me, so I decided to upload a couple of them. In my opinion it is good to have a couple of photos without much snow. It gives some sort of "color contrast". I hope you enjoy them in spite of "sadness" you mentioned.

You are right. I saw it earlier at work today. The quality of the screen at work is low. Now that I see it at home on my own screen, it looks much more colorful. No wonder the mountain on the right is called "Zard Gel".
