An ascent of Carbonate...
An ascent of Carbonate Mountain can be done following the south ridge, or a shallow draw just to the west, seen here. Descending the draw until it gets steep fascilitates a fast retreat. Be sure to regain the ridge when the draw gets steeper to remain on your route for descent. Summer, 2005, Sawatch Range, Colorado.
