Breidtinden in Bodö, where you take the boat to Lofoten. The mainland is also very hilly. You see the road going northward below Breidtinden, with small tiny cars on it. Photo: Lolli.

A giant fossilised seal photographed from behind. One of the most obvious and aesthetically pleasing route prospects I have ever seen - traversing that entire ridge from the foreground. Yes!

yes, it's tempting, isn't it? It isn't so very high, but impressive anyway

Thank you, Moni, the photo serves it's purpose then!

It's an impressive landscape and I cannot catch the feeling of it.

If you like this, maybe you would like Trollväggen also. It's the same kind, but an impressive wall.

Thank you. The wet weather makes the stone shiny and enhances its surface.

Yes, it is. It sticks up like a great sharktooth, a huge grey stone. Any thoughts of going back?

hello lolli, the picture is not showing a mountain near bodö - it is eidetind in tysfjord region. probably the image was taken from a large flat granite slab called "verdens sva" - nethertheless a great pic and some interesting climbing in a fabulous landscape. see more climbing images at http://mttg.wordpress.com/2006/08/

like a bi-cuspid of a sleeping giant!
Imagine the climbing along that ridge....

I have slept on one of the snowpatches you see at its foot, but not climbed upon it (not a rock-climber). Actually, I can image going up, (ropeless, as I don't know how to use all that junk), crawl the ridge, but - down?
