Hasn't voted | I'd call the downclimb serious class 4. In the photo I'm standing at the top of Drizzlepuss and the first move or two is definitely the scariest as it's pretty straight down. Other than that it didn't bother me too much. However, at the time Alan said it was the scariest downclimbing he'd ever done.
I'm not sure exactly how far the rappel was, but one 60m rope easily got us down. I'd say it was probably about 50 to 60 feet. | | Posted Sep 14, 2005 4:15 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I agree totally with Andy. The downclimb is serious class 4.....more like class 5. The fall would be at least 1000 ft. However, the first move is the hardest. Once done, the remaining downclimb is closer to class 3 with nice large ledges. Yes, it was the scariest downclimb I've ever done. | | Posted Sep 14, 2005 4:53 pm |
