September 17, 2005. Another note on lots of snow, we were glad we didn't go for the Aspen Grove side, the trail is covered by tens of feet of snow in that snowfield at the base of the cliffs.

Hard to believe that there is still that much snow up there as late as Sept 17th. Rather than interesting, I should have said "amazing" Nice pic.

I just took the Aspen Grove trail and that area was a little scary with all that snow, but the view from there was breathtaking. Thanks for the picture from this perspective.
