The view WNW from near Pt....
The view WNW from near Pt. 6785 toward Glacier Gap. Pt. 7829 northwest of Kololo Peaks' summit is on the right. Note the lack of glacier. The White Chuck has been chucked by Mother Nature. That lake below: it is right here and kind of gets in the way. For a view of the more-glaciated east side of Glacier Gap, click here.

It's been a few years since I've been there [28] where'd the glacier go??? When we crossed this area the glacier was at least 2KM long.

The glacier came out of the taps of Burlington-Mt. Vernon residents.

It's too bad. The place is now more a moonscape than anything resembling Antarctica.
