The final 900 vertical feet...
The final 900 vertical feet of climbing from the Disappointment Peak saddle (9,600 ft). No glacier travel through here. And in late season you can leave your crampons and ice axe at the saddle if you want. Sept. 25, 2005.

learning experience. I thought
there were more glaciers on this
peak. Seems like there would be
some rockfall in the afternoon,
however. Great job, Paul.

Hasn't voted

There are lots of glaciers on Glacier Peak. It doesn't have that name in error, unlike the Glacier Peak in the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
