Somebody set fire to the Civetta summit! This kind of weather seems to be typical for Civetta in summer. A clean north-west face with the summit in clouds. The eastern side always seems to be shrouded in clouds. July 25th 2005

But they are punished anyway. Someone tells them (some stupid guidebook for instance) that this is "La più bella passegiata delle Dolomiti" - and fools that they are - they believe it. Nothing to be seen but the north-west face of Civetta (impressive, ok) and that is so close that you can't see it really.
