Hasn't voted | No, no pumice. There are no volcanos in the Alps that I know of. The rock is a variety of limestone that is very prone to erosion and so is very barren. Grosses Ochsenhorn is in a mountain group of the Alps that is called Steinberge ,which translates to "Stony Mountains" and so reflects the barrenness of this group.
