The ridge extending from...
The ridge extending from White Mountain viewed on July 30, 2001, from the spur trail ~1/2mi NE of White Pass. The red line shows the approximate path of the well-beaten spur trail traversing the basin toward to the ridge on the SW side of the Foam Creek basin. From that ridge, the (recommended) red route leads to the White Chuck glacier via a ~1mi traverse to the saddle on the N side of the Foam Creek basin and a subsequent ~1.5mi hike through the upper east basin of the White Chuck River. Beckey's recommended saddle/route is delineated in magenta. [ Larger version (70kb) ]

"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."   --Peter Gibbons (Office Space)
