The Góriz Hut (lower part of the picture, slightly to the left) is an excellent base for climbs around the area, and starting point of the routes (to the right of the picture) to Monte Perdido and Soum de Ramond. The whole ridge behind is made up of three thousanders. The red peak to the left of the background is Taillon, the next one to the right El Casco/Le Casque. 1st October 2005
