Martin CashNice action shot

Voted 10/10

Looks like fun, doing a little peakbagging. So has this tower seen a free ascent. Just curious. Is it to featured or too poor rock for that?

How about some of the other spires in the Smith Rock Group? Have they all been free climbed?

P.S. - You guys should do that Marsupial Traverse, you bag a whole bunch of peaks in one day!

thanks Martin.

It was OK and since it was raining/drizzling most of the day, this was a decent choice. As far as I know this one has not seen a free ascent. Looks like it would not be unreasonable (guessing 11's???) with the crux right at the start of the bolt ladder....BUUUUUUUT the rock is bad!

All 4 principle spires of the group now have routes up them (2 are accessible via low 5th pitches; this one is a bolt ladder; the East Summit is reached via East Wall choss).

Marsupial T. looks cool but it too is very very loose. Will wait for a shi..y day in mid-winter when the climbing gym below is empty to do this one.

lotta "adventure routes" at smith :)
