The northeast approach to the summit which begins on the east ridge and works its way up the east ridge and then wraps over to the north side as shown in this pic. The summit of Mt. Aix was leveled off to accomodate a lookout which is no longer in existance but remnants of the lookout are still present to remind one of its past.
