Finally gained some vote weight - congratulations on your ascent of Moapa - I have viewed it many times from the highway west of Mesquite. You guys look like ants up there.

Hello! It's been awhile since I've climbed Moapa, almost a year, in fact. It would be madness to climb it in summer. If you look at the main page mountain picture, you'll see me in the red jacket near near the top of the ridge (If you're ever around town on a weekend and want to try it, drop me a line and I will get a group together to climb it).

Awesome. Moapa Peak is on my "TO DO" list!

Along with ... Mollies Nipple, Valley of Fire and Sweden - the list goes on! "SO MANY MOUNTAINS - SO LITTLE TIME." Thanks, Susan.

Kudos should go to cp0915 (the author of the Moapa Peak page), he guided me the first time I did Moapa. He is one of our mountain authorities around here.
