This photo shows I-84 and the Starvation Creek exit. As Brian J said, "Drive I-84 east of Cascade Locks 10 miles to the Starvation Creek exit near milepost 54." This is the exit. The photo was taken from the top of Starvation Ridge, looking directly down at the Columbia River and the round parking area in the right-hand side of the photo. You can park in the round lot for free; no parking passes are needed. The beginning of the trail actually follows the highway for a little while, from right to left in the photo. (10-05)
