Mt. Whitney from the Russell-Carillon saddle - October 24, 2005

Voted 10/10 | Or did you lug your 20D up Russell yourself (I'm assuming that's the camera you brought with you)?! I feel bad, as I'm too lazy to drag something that large up a climb (I just take my point-and-shoot for climbs), but you've inspired me! Nice photos & don't fret, you'll summit Russell soon (there are also fine rock routes to be had in better conditions)! Nice series of photos. | | Posted Nov 1, 2005 12:55 pm |

Hasn't voted | 20D it is! It is going everywhere with me... well, almost everywhere :) Wait until I pick up my next camera (Canon 5D?), it will be even heavier, LOL | | Posted Nov 1, 2005 1:17 pm |

Voted 10/10 | This is the best pic of Whitney I've EVER seen. Bravo. Let me know if you ever consider selling your prints. | | Posted Nov 3, 2005 6:50 pm |

Hasn't voted | I am selling my prints (and licensing rights). If interested, email me at logv33@yahoo.com. Sorry, there is no "pro" website yet that explains all specifics, but it is coming soon. In the meantime, I will be very easy to deal with :)
Thanks a lot for the comment! | | Posted Nov 3, 2005 7:02 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Getting repetitive! I seriously believe you offer the finest, and most consistently superb photographs of the Sierra on SummitPost. You have the eye of a poet and the real mastery of the craft which is rare. This shot is just one of many awesome ones. | | Posted Jun 29, 2006 9:59 pm |
