shows a good view of the two summits of Peak Q. The summit on the right is the west summit and the summit that Theron climbed and reported on in his TR. The summit on the left is the east summit and true summit. Attainable with an appraoch from the Slate Creek Drainage.

I think you can however, without a rope you would have to drop down quite a bit. Theron notes that while on the west summit he new he wasn't on the true summit. He said that he needed a rope to get over to the east summit. Given his tone, I'm assuming that he didn't think it was worth the effort.
