On Humphrey's Peak in Arizona a similar camp would be buffeted by winds on all but the calmest of days/nights and you wouldn't get much sleep. Your tent might blow away if perched like that without any wind protection. Was it windy there, or pretty calm?

Most of the big storms track from the SW, the same direction the ridge falls. We had a good high pressure system, so the winds were pretty minimal. Cheers
