Hasn't voted | Thanks for your comments Larry! Sargent's Ridge is indeed a fine line when the conditions cooperate. Cheers | | Posted Jul 16, 2008 11:41 am |
| jhodlof | Winds? | |
Hasn't voted | On Humphrey's Peak in Arizona a similar camp would be buffeted by winds on all but the calmest of days/nights and you wouldn't get much sleep. Your tent might blow away if perched like that without any wind protection. Was it windy there, or pretty calm? | | Posted Apr 8, 2009 2:02 pm |

Hasn't voted | Most of the big storms track from the SW, the same direction the ridge falls. We had a good high pressure system, so the winds were pretty minimal. Cheers | | Posted Apr 8, 2009 5:33 pm |
