Looking up Magog Ridge... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Looking up Magog Ridge...
Looking up Magog Ridge towards the summit of Cameron Cone. If you head towards the summit you should pick up the road mentioned on the route page. The road loses a little elevation along the way but will lead you to the trail up to the east ridge on the left of the photo. Some route finding will be necessary. The GPS coordinates on the route page are very helpful. Expect the going to be pretty slow if you want to follow the trail - colored ribbon and flagging is in-place along most of the upper portion of trail. The last 400' or 500' feet are more of a route over rocks and downfall than a trail. Wear good boots!
