| Early Eric | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
On the South Arête route in May 1979; a young Eric Sandbo checks his gear after providing one of the belays for the SAC Mountaineering Class. The route can and has been climbed in all kinds of conditions. The terrain behind Eric (looking S - in the distance) is upper Early Winters Creek and access to Kangaroo Pass.

Voted 10/10 | Damn, he's cute! Was that the day I inspired Lyle with my encouraging words about rappelling? | | Posted Nov 14, 2005 12:16 pm |

Hasn't voted | I think the trip with Lyle was a couple of years later; wasn't Barry in his class? | | Posted Nov 14, 2005 2:42 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I wish I'd climbed that route in snowy conditions...looks really fun. How was the hand traverse slab, was it icy? :D | | Posted Feb 19, 2006 4:52 pm |

Hasn't voted | We brought a SAC climbing class up it, it was snow covered and they mostly walked across it. If I have a photo maybe I would post it. Link here. | | Posted Feb 20, 2006 12:19 am |
