Picchu Picchu is to the...
Picchu Picchu is to the south. This extinct volcano was thought to be much larger. The ridge that we see is only a small part of what is left of the crater rim. Apparently explosions from this volcano sent ash hundreds of miles towards the high desert plains to the west of Arequipa
