CoraxDogs on 5200m

Voted 10/10

I've read about dogs making it to the summit of Aconcagua.

How did those dogs on top of Sangay seem to feel?

Were they doing ok?

These dogs, although almost on a vegetarian diet (amazing for a carnivorous isn’t it?!) spent just few minutes per 100m of elevation gain. They live on a mountain flank and spend their days between 3000m and 4000m. Thus, they were particularly well fit. If they look sleepy on the picture, it’s mostly because they were fed-up of my turtle pace and ended-up taking regular naps while waiting for me!!!
